Rehoming your pet

Making the decision to part with a member of your family is not an easy one. Sadly, there are times when you or a loved one can no longer care for or support your pet. Please refer to our Info on Adoptions and Fostering page under the Adopt/Foster tab for details about owners surrenders.

Rehoming involves YOU keeping your pet and allowing us to help find the next forever home for your beloved animal via our social media and adoption events.

Initial Meet & Greet

A member of our team will meet with you and your pet. Please contact us so we can schedule a time to meet in person. Our visit is to discuss your concerns, reason for rehoming, and to complete the appropriate paperwork.

Proof of Good Health

and Alteration

We can help you with reduced costs for vaccinations, a physical, and altering to ensure our pet is ready for a new home. This MUST be completed before you can participate in our rehoming program.

Social Media

You will need to provide 3 to 4 images of your pet along with the breed, approximate age, gender, and backstory of your pet's history. Additionally, the biography should include special personality traits, needs, and your recommendation of the home environment that will be the best fit for the pet.

Adoption Events

We typically have adoption events twice a month. Please see our events calendar for future dates. You will be required to bring your pet and stay for the duration of the event. You will engage with potential adaptors to answer their questions.

Rehoming Fee

A donation of $150 is required to participate in our rehoming program.
