Chevy was found near a gas station off the 405 freeway near Beach Blvd.  Some "Good Samaritans" picked her up and reached out to A4P to find a way to rehome her.  They were unable to keep her due to allergy issues and already having birds as pets.  However, they were able to foster Chevy.  After a few weeks in their foster care and some routine medical visits covered by our organization, Chevy was adopted!  

Kate was a senior dog at a local animal shelter that was not getting much attention.  A4P pulled her from the shelter and placed her in foster care for about 3 months. Kate was a wonderful dog at all our adoption events, and many people inquired about her, but it wasn't until she was found on our partner website Adopt-a-Pet that Kate found her forever home. 

Daphne was found as a stray in Garden Grove and was in a shelter for nearly a year when A4P pulled her.  Daphne is a sweet girl and life at the shelter was causing her anxiety and depression.  She was in foster care for about 2 months when she was spotted by a family visiting Huntington Beach...they live in Utah!  Daphne is now happy out in the country and we look forward to seeing her playing in the snow. 

Our first rescue!  Diesel had an incident at the shelter and A4P stepped in to take him into our foster care.  Diesel was fostered by one of our board members for nearly 4 months as we searched for his forever home.  He is happy and living with a family in Newport, Ca.  

Audrey is a senior dog that was found as a stray.  Her owner never claimed her so A4P took her into foster care for about 3 months.  Her foster family loved her SOOOO much that they decided to keep her!  This failed foster is a bittersweet moment for our organization.  Fosters are the key to having dogs and cats become adoptable so this means that this foster, at this time, is not available any longer. Clark is such a sweet dog!  He was found as a stray in Long Beach and was put on euthanasia list at the shelter due to space issues. An advocate for animals found Passion 4 Pitties Animals Rescue who pulled Clark within 3 hours of when he was supposed to be put down. As we are located closer to Long Beach, Passion 4 Pitties transferred ownership to our organization where he stayed in foster care for 2 months.  Clark is another failed foster!  His foster family loved him and could not bear the idea of letting him go so he was officially adopted into their family. 

We pulled our little guy Wanaie from the shelter with an infected eye.  He was the runt of the litter of 5 black kittens.  But don't let that fool you. He championed through eye surgery and came out with a personality of a fiery and affectionate little pumpkin.  He stayed in our foster care for just about 3 weeks before he caught the eyes of his future mama.  And now he has a sister "Banana" who keeps him company and watches over him.   We have many kittens that need a transition calm place into their forever home, and we're always looking for Kitten fosters.  Please apply if you're interested.
