Our Story
Angels 4 Paws was started by a core group of volunteers who met whilst dedicating their spare time at the local community shelter. We all come from different backgrounds but our love and commitment to these souls brought us together. We have been volunteering at the same shelter for the past 3-5 years when we finally decided to take it to the next level and maximize the benefits we hope to bring to the dogs and cats during their shelter stay.
Our approach and strategy are to collaborate with existing rescues, shelters, and even boarding businesses with the goal to maximize our impact in helping save as many dogs and cats as possible from euthanization and enhance their stay at the shelters to ultimately make them more adoptable. Additionally, we are always looking to expand our network of volunteers to help us foster rescued pets, on their way to finding them a forever-loving family and home.

Our Mission
Angels 4 Paws’ mission is to enhance the lives of animals at the shelters and save precious souls by placing them in foster care while actively seeking permanent and loving homes.
Fostering & adopting
The key to our mission is YOUR help in fostering dogs and cats that we pull out of the shelters. These animals have been placed on euthanasia lists for a variety of reasons and our hope is to give them a chance to find their forever home. At
shelters, dog and cats can become "different" than their actual disposition. The stress of the shelter life can cause anxiety, depression, and behaviors that potential adopters find unadoptable. Living in a foster environment where animals can decompress, receive love, get personal attention, and some training from you, will build their confidence and allow them to show their unique personality and become more adoptable.
Adoption is a WONDERFUL choice in adding a new member to your family. Depending on your lifestyle, you can find a pet who can chill out on the couch, be energetic in your activities, or just give you the unconditional love that you deserve. While many shelter dogs and cats are not pure breeds, you will find that they can be the perfect fit for your family.
