A lifelong dog lover, I’m a local middle school teacher who has been volunteering to walk shelter dogs for the past 3 years. I became interested in building a rescue as animals in need hold a special place in my heart.

My connection to animals has always been there but it flourished when I started volunteering to walk dogs at the local shelter. My dream would be realized when we reach a zero kill rate at shelters nationwide, starting with California.
My love for animals was inherited from my parents at a very young age. My passion is to make a difference in the lives of shelter animals and I truly believe in the importance of animal welfare as it relates to our society.
